Its an occupation that definitely appeals to creatives, but also has a certain architectural flair to it because interior designers can change the physical structure or layout of a room, house, office building, or whatever edifice they’re working on. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ (BLS) Occupational Employment Statistics (OES), there are an estimated 61,970 Americans employed as interior designers.
